How to Brew Asosi Tea
Experience the perfect cup with our traditional brewing method
Start with fresh water
Use cold, filtered water for the best taste. Avoid previously boiled water as it lacks oxygen.
Heat to the right temperature
Bring water to 175-185°F (80-85°C) for green tea, or 200-212°F (93-100°C) for black tea. Let boiling water cool for 2-3 minutes.
Measure your Asosi tea
Use 1 teaspoon of loose leaf tea per 8 oz cup. Adjust to your preferred strength.
Steep with care
Green tea: 2-3 minutes. Black tea: 3-5 minutes. White tea: 4-6 minutes. Don't over-steep to avoid bitterness.
Remove the leaves
Strain or remove the tea leaves promptly to prevent over-extraction and bitterness.
Savor the moment
Enjoy your Asosi tea pure, or add honey and lemon to taste. Take a moment to appreciate the aroma and flavor.
Store Asosi tea in an airtight container away from light, heat, and moisture. Most teas can be steeped 2-3 times - increase steeping time slightly with each infusion. Preheat your teapot or cup with hot water for optimal temperature.
